Ashbound

Create your own spells, then battle
with them.

A free, real-time spellcasting battle arena where every spell is designed by a player. Build your own and dominate the leaderboards!

Design

Build spells in the Spell Creator, node by node: what it creates, how it moves, and what happens when it hits.

Fight

Take a scion of your house into real-time battles against other players or AI. Aim, dodge, wall off, blink away - with the spells you wrote.

Endure

Scions fall; the house remains. Earn deeds for your chronicle and put scions and your house on the global leaderboards.

The Spell Creator

Magic is a machine you build

A spell is a graph: an event starts it, nodes create things, move them, and burn, freeze or shove whatever they touch. Fireball is a bolt that flies where you aim and bursts into a spreading sphere of flame - and you can open it and see exactly how.

  • Every spell has a price. The compiler reads what a spell does and charges energy for it. Power is never free.
  • Try it before you trust it. The preview runs the real game engine against practice dummies, right in the editor.
  • Spells chant what they do. Casting speaks its working aloud - projectile, fire. Nobody can lie about their spell, and a sharp ear knows what is coming.

Battle

Real time, real reads

Every cast takes a moment, and that moment is a tell. Step out of a fireball's path, throw up a wall, blink behind a pillar - or stand your ground and finish your own cast first.

  • Energy, not cooldowns. It comes back steadily; health does not. Every cast is a choice.
  • The Veil. Each spell tears it, and your Count rises: magic comes cheaper - until it ruptures, and every spell you carry erupts at once.
  • A rival to practise on. The Duelist rehearses every spell in its book before using it, aims where you are going, and dodges what it sees coming.

Your house awaits its first scion

Registering founds a house with a starter book of spells, so your first scion can fight at once.
